Le Laboratoire de Thermique et Energie de Nantes (LTeN) est l'un des 7 laboratoires de Polytech Nantes, école d'ingénieurs de l'Université. Le LTeN est une unité mixte de recherche de l’Université de Nantes et du CNRS. L’effectif du laboratoire est d’environ 75 personnes. Depuis sa création en 1967, l’unité a une identité forte en thermique, reconnue comme telle au niveau national et international, ainsi que par le tissu industriel. Laboratoire implanté dans une école d’ingénieurs, au cœur de l’Institut INSIS du CNRS, les verrous scientifiques et technologiques que nous cherchons à lever sont bien sûr suscités par les applications. Notre environnement est favorable à l’épanouissement d’une dynamique appuyée sur le triptyque classique enseignement- recherche-industrie.
The Laboratory of Thermal and Energy of Nantes (LTeN) is one of the 7 laboratories of Polytech Nantes, the University's engineering school. The LTeN is a joint research unit of the University of Nantes and the CNRS. The laboratory has a staff of approximately 75 people. Since its creation in 1967, the unit has had a strong identity in thermics, recognised as such at the national and international level, as well as by the industrial fabric. As a laboratory located in an engineering school, at the heart of the INSIS Institute of the CNRS, the scientific and technological barriers that we seek to overcome are of course driven by applications. Our environment is favourable to the development of a dynamic based on the classic triptych of teaching, research and industry.
