L’INES est le centre français de référence dans le domaine du solaire. Porté par le Conseil Général de la Savoie et la Région Rhône-Alpes avec les équipes du CEA, du CNRS, de l’Université de Savoie et du CSTB, il est situé à Savoie Technolac sur les rives du lac du Bourget. L’INES est le centre français de référence et l’un des premiers en Europe dans le domaine de l’énergie solaire. Alors que l’institut ne comptait qu’une poignée de chercheurs au printemps 2006, il réunit aujourd’hui 300 collaborateurs venus d’horizons divers et regroupera à terme plus de 500 personnes sur environ 20 000 m² de locaux.
The INES is the French reference centre in the field of solar energy. Supported by the Savoie General Council and the Rhône-Alpes Region with teams from the CEA, CNRS, the University of Savoie and the CSTB, it is located at Savoie Technolac on the banks of Lake Bourget. The INES is the French reference centre and one of the first in Europe in the field of solar energy. While the institute had only a handful of researchers in the spring of 2006, it now brings together 300 employees from various backgrounds and will eventually have more than 500 people on approximately 20000 m² of premises.
