Carbios est une entreprise de biotechnologie qui développe et industrialise des solutions enzymatiques pour accélérer l'économie circulaire des plastiques et textiles. Carbios is a biotechnology company developing and industrializing enzymatic solutions to advance the circular economy for plastics and textiles. Its proprietary technologies focus on two breakthrough innovations: enzymatic PET biorecycling transforming complex PET waste into virgin-quality material, and enzymatic PLA biodegradation, enabling PLA-rich products to become 100% compostable at ambient tmperature. Following the successful validation of its PET biorecycling technology at its industrial demonstration plant in Clermont-Ferrand, operational since 2021, CARBIOS is now accelerating its industrial and commercial deployment, with its first industrial plant planned in Longlavill, France, and technology deployment throughinternational licensing agreements.
